We mark 30 years with Birthday Cake drinks

Espresso House is marking its 30th anniversary with the launch of three cold anniversary drinks inspired by classic birthday desserts. The festive Birthday Cake flavours will be introduced in April and will be available for a limited time.

The anniversary range includes Birthday Cake Frapino, A creamy, dessert-like drink flavored with ruby chocolate; Birthday Cake Iced Matcha, where the fresh character of matcha meets a gentle sweetness; and Birthday Cake Iced Latte, a classic iced latte with smooth, dessert-inspired flavour nuances.

“We wanted to create anniversary drinks that capture the feeling of celebration while reflecting our view of fika as an experience. The result is a collection of anniversary flavours that bring together coffee breaks, dessert and the joy of celebrating,” says Tanja Kjaer Vad, Commercial Manager at Espresso House.

When Espresso House opened its first coffee shop in Lund in 1996, latte and espresso were still relatively new features of the urban landscape. In the years that followed, a modern café culture emerged in which takeaway coffee and cafés as natural social meeting places became an integral part of everyday life.

Through the anniversary launch, Espresso House aims to celebrate three decades of coffee and fika experiences, while also inspiring new flavour combinations for today’s modern coffee breaks.
